Davie Shoring is moving a historical shotgun down to the Superdome for the show Louisiana Flip and Move on the DIY network. It will be auctioned off to the highest bidder on Saturday March 11, 2017 at the New Orleans Home and Garden Show.
We loaded the house at T-Rivers on the Tchefuncte River in Madisonville, La then pushed it across Lake Ponchartrain with our 600 h.p. Hydraulic outboard push boat, and unloaded at the Marina on Breakwater drive. We spotted the house today inside the Superdome where it will sit awaiting its new owner. It would be a perfect pool house, guest house, mother in law cottage. Come and visit us at booth #549 and tour the house! If you fall in love with it buy it and we'll move it to your property.

Davie Shoring, Inc. moved a 32' x 37' house in Robert, La today.
Vincent Arnone and his crew: Harvey, Tommy, Mark, Darren, Dorman, and David. Raised the house and backed two 50' pintle hook trailers under the house, then cut it in half and braced it in the last 2 days. They moved the first section in place today, spotted it on the stakes using a wireless remote House Tug at the front, and blocked the trailer level using cribbing. Bringing the second half as close as possible with the House Tug they drove two Translifts under the second half and tracked the two together in a matter of hours. Having the right equipment helps. What a beautiful day for moving a house. Great job guys.
